What Are Chemical Peels?
Chemical peels use clinically formulated acids to gently exfoliate the skin’s surface, removing dead cells and stimulating the production of new, healthy skin. Tailored to your skin type and concerns, peels can help reduce pigmentation, refine pores, clear congestion, and soften fine lines. From light, lunchtime peels to medium-depth resurfacing options, this treatment reveals a brighter, smoother, and more radiant complexion. We offer PCA skin peels which are perfectly tailored to your skin and suitable for all skin types.
Safety & Professionalism
At Coral Aesthetics, we provide expertly tailored chemical peel treatments suitable for all skin types, including Black and Brown skin. Led by our NMC-registered Nurse Prescriber Coral (who brings nearly a decade of experience and a deep understanding of skin diversity) each treatment is customised to your skin’s unique needs. With clinics across London, Essex, and Kent, we pride ourselves on offering inclusive, medically-led care that prioritises safety, results, and skin confidence. Whether you're treating pigmentation, acne, or dullness, we ensure every peel is delivered with precision, respect, and an expert knowledge of skin of colour.
Combining Treatments For
Optimal Results
Chemical Peels can be paired with other advanced treatments for a comprehensive approach to skin rejuvenation. Ideal combinations include:
• Skin Boosters: Hydrate and nourish the skin deeply, complementing the exfoliation from chemical peels for smoother, brighter skin.
• Microneedling: Enhance the penetration of active ingredients post-peel, stimulating collagen production and improving skin texture for a more radiant finish.
• Polynucleotides: Further improve skin quality by regenerating collagen and increasing hydration, offering long-lasting effects alongside chemical peel treatments.

FREQUENTLY ASKED
QUESTIONS
-
How many sessions will I need?We recommend a course of 3-6 sessions to all of our clients in order to achieve the maximum benefit from Lemon Bottle treatment. This is what the manufacturers advise, and from our experience this is usually what is required to notice significant results. The way in which your body responds to treatment will be unique to you. Some of our clients have experienced results rapidly within the first few days following their treatment, however for the majority of people it takes a month to start noticing results. Your sessions will be spaced 1-4 weeks apart and Nurse Coral will tailor the treatment to you, including the number of vials used per session.
-
Is there any downtime?Typically, downtime for fat dissolving injections can range from a few hours to a couple of days, depending on individual sensitivity and the area treated. Most clients find that any redness or swelling subsides within 24 to 48 hours. Bruises may take up to 2 weeks to fully resolve.
-
Am I suitable for fat dissolving injections? While Lemon Bottle fat dissolving is suitable for most adults looking to address stubborn areas of fat, it may not be recommended for everyone. If you have certain medical conditions, allergies, or are pregnant or breastfeeding, it's important to consult with a qualified practitioner who can assess your suitability. Nurse Coral will assess your medical history and carry out a consultation prior to any treatment.
-
How long do results last? The results of fat dissolving treatments, such as those using Lemon Bottle or other similar products such as DesoLab or Aqualyx, are generally long-lasting. Once the fat cells are broken down and removed by your body’s natural processes, they do not return to the treated area. This means that, with a balanced lifestyle, the results can be permanent.
